IFCI sells 0.5% stake in NSE

IFCI has sold about 0.5% stake in NSE for Rs 89 crore, according to reports,
Report says that IFCI sold 2.25 lakh shares, or a 0.5 per cent stake, in the stock exchange at a price of Rs 3,950 apiece.
Last week, SBI had sold 5% stake in the bourse NSE to Veracity Investments for Rs 911 crore.
IFCI Ltd ended at Rs. 28.05, up by Rs. 1.2 or 4.47% from its previous closing of Rs. 26.85 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 27.05 and touched a high and low of Rs. 28.15 and Rs. 27.05 respectively. A total of 16447003(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4662.02 crore.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 touched a 52 week high of Rs. 29.95 on 21-Oct-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 17.55 on 25-Aug-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 28.15 and Rs. 25.6 respectively.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.53 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.24 % and 22.22 % respectively.
The stock traded above its 50 DMA.
