Power Finance Corporation Ltd has announced that Warora-Kurnool Transmission Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of PFC Consulting Limited (wholly owned subsidiary of Power Finance Corporation), established for development of Transmission System for "Additional inter-Regional AC link for import into Southern Region.

Power Finance Corporation Ltd has announced that Warora-Kurnool Transmission Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of PFC Consulting Limited (wholly owned subsidiary of Power Finance Corporation), established for development of Transmission System for "Additional inter-Regional AC link for import into Southern Region i.e. Warora - Warangal and Chilakaluripeta - Hyderabad - KurnooI 765 kV link" Common Transmission System has since been Transferred to M/s Essel Infraprojects Limited (the successful bidder) on July 06, 2016.

Power Finance Corporation Ltd ended at Rs. 186.7, up by Rs. 3.8 or 2.08% from its previous closing of Rs. 182.9 on the BSE.
 
The scrip opened at Rs. 183 and touched a high and low of Rs. 188.5 and Rs. 181.9 respectively. A total of 3422150(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 24645.16 crore.
 
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 touched a 52 week high of Rs. 270.6 on 21-Jul-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 140.4 on 17-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 188.5 and Rs. 164.4 respectively.
 
The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.8 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.58 % and 4.62 % respectively.
 
The stock traded above its 200 DMA.
