PNB Q4 loss at Rs 5367 cr, provisions rise 3-fold to Rs 10485 cr
Provisions increased nearly 3-fold to Rs 10,485.23 crore during the quarter compared to Rs 3,775.53 crore in preceding quarter and Rs 3,834.2 crore in corresponding period of last fiscal.
Punjab National Bank (PNB) on Wednesday reported a net loss of Rs 5,370 crore in the March quarter.
This was the biggest quarterly loss in India's bank history.
The lender had reported a net profit of Rs 307 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year.
